Navigating your health journey can be challenging, especially if you’re managing a chronic condition, recovering from surgery or need extra support. MyFitRx offers the right remedy. Built on a medically integrated fitness approach, this eight-week program provides personalized guidance designed to support your unique needs. Discover what MyFitRx can offer you. We’re ready to support you every step of the way.
MyFitRx is open to both members and non-members of the Mercy HealthPlex. We offer structured exercise through one of ten specialized pathways. Each pathway is intentionally tailored to your unique wellness goals. Regardless of your current fitness level, there is something for everyone.
How our program works.
Get started by asking your health care provider for a referral or contact us directly. Then, we’ll reach out to the physician on your behalf.
Step 1: Meet with our membership team to sign up for the program.
Step 2: Meet with our Wellness Navigator and take a pre-program assessment. During this session, we will discuss any challenges that impact your ability to exercise and review your health care provider’s recommendations. The information we receive from you will help us create a personalized workout plan.
From there, the eight-week journey begins. Participants will meet in our MyFitRx group twice per week. Each session is guided, but every participant follows their own customized workout plan. We provide supervision, ensure proper form and adjust exercises as needed. Our goal is to help you discover movement you enjoy, making wellness sustainable and attainable long term.
At the end of the program, you’ll complete a post-assessment to track your progress. Your results will be shared with your referring health care provider to support your ongoing care.
Real results create real impacts.
Participants in MyFitRx have seen measurable improvements across several key fitness markers:
- 79% improved muscular endurance.
- 71% increased their 6-minute walking distance.
- 71% showed progress in balance and flexibility.
- Many also saw improvements in body weight, BMI, body fat percentage and blood pressure.
Hear from our participants.
Ken Brown is one of our longtime Mercy HealthPlex members. He needed our help transitioning from physical therapy to an active lifestyle after a shoulder replacement. Ken admits he struggled with self-discipline when it came to consistent exercise.
“It’s not easy to come to the Mercy HealthPlex when you don’t have someone to make you do it,” Ken shared.
The structure and accountability of the program helped Ken stay active and consistent. He’s now transitioned into regular personal training sessions, continuing to build shoulder strength and enhance his balance. Ken says he’s doing exercises he wouldn’t normally try, and he’s proud of the progress he’s made.
“My self-esteem and confidence have improved. I’m proud that I’m taking care of myself.”
