Your Safety Is Our Priority

The health and well-being of our members is our number one priority.  We are taking a calculated and phased approach with the reopening of Mercy HealthPlex with your safety in mind. Below is an outline of the other steps we are taking to ensure the safety of our members and the community.

Safety Protocols

• Temperature checks upon entry
• Face masks are required for staff and members by state mandate. Members may remove masks only while actively engaged in exercise and maintaining six feet of distance from others.
• Extra hand sanitizer stations will be in locations throughout the center
• Fitness towels provided by staff
• Members bring their own equipment for sports such as tennis, basketball and racquetball

Cleaning Protocols

• Following CDC guidelines
• Continuous disinfection schedule for the center
• Enhanced after-hours cleaning and disinfecting
• Extra sanitizer wipes for cleaning equipment after every use

Social Distancing

• Capacity restrictions implemented based on state and local government
• Equipment limitations to encourage distancing
• Extra signs and space markings throughout the facility
• Limited lockers and reduced seating to encourage spacing
